Logan Marshall-Green to join Jena in “Lonely Hunter”

Logan Marshall-Green is the latest to join the ranks of actors portraying real life icons, according to Deadline. The “Prometheus” star has been set to play famed playwright Tennessee Williams in “Lonely Hunter”, a new biopic of Williams’ pal and fellow writer Carson McCullers, who will be played by Jena Malone.

Deborah Kampmeier will direct from a script she co-wrote with Sarah Shulman later this year. Malone will play McCullers as she wrote her first novel, “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter”, at aged 23, but suffered from various physical and emotional struggles throughout her life. Marshall-Green’s Williams was her best friend and longtime confidant, and casting continues for McCullers’ other larger than life group of friends, which also included Truman Capote, Benjamin Britten and Gypsy Rose Lee.

“Five Star Day” Screen Captures

A month ago Jena’s movie Five Star Day was released on DVD and Blu-Ray and I’ve added the Blu-Ray captures of the film to the gallery. I loved the film and thought Jena was amazing in it. I also added some production stills of the film so be sure to check those out as well.

Some great news guys! Remember Five Star Day, the film that premiered in 2010. It never really got released, until now. Five Star Day is now available in selected theaters as well as on demand.
